Why these essential oils?

Tea Tree cleans and disinfects the skin

The Tea Tree essential oil is a specialist in acne problems. Its terpinen-4-ol composition gives it a specific bactericidal action on Propionibacterium acnes. Its effectiveness is even comparable to a benzoyl peroxide lotion, an anti-acne chemical. This essential oil is therefore going to be formidable against acne pimples, even the biggest ones.

Moreover, terpinen-4-ol has an immunostimulant activity. It will stimulate the activity of the white blood cells which will increase the production of the type of immunoglobulin A antibodies which will reinforce the cellular defense of the organization. It will thus be more effective to fight naturally against the bacteria responsible for the acne.

Lemon Eucalyptus calms skin inflammation

Acne pimples are, by definition, inflammatory skin conditions. It is therefore essential to include in the synergy a powerful anti-inflammatory such as Lemon Eucalyptus essential oil. Citronellal in very high quantities (65 to 82%) is responsible for this property: it will modulate the immune response and mobilize leukocytes (molecules responsible for the immune response). The leukocytes will be active in defending the body against infection and citronellal will limit the inflammation that results from it and therefore the redness and heat sensations.

In addition, its analgesic and skin soothing property will reinforce that of the essential oil of Lavender Fine just as the antibacterial property will reinforce that of the essential oil of Tea Tree.

Fine Lavender heals and regenerates the skin

The Fine Lavender Essential Oil was selected primarily for its healing and skin regenerating properties. It will promote the reconstitution of the skin damaged by acne pimples. Moreover, the linalool present in great quantity (between 25 and 36%) is a stimulator of the morphine receptors which control the pain. It will thus inhibit the transmission of the message of pain towards the brain thanks to the release of enkephalins which are small analgesic proteins synthesized at the level of the brain.

The essential oil of Lavender Fine also has an antiseptic action not to be neglected because very important to support the antibacterial action of the essential oil of Tea Tree.

Lavender Aspic, ultra-powerful regenerator

One of the heavy consequences of acne pimples is scarring. To avoid them as much as possible, Lavender Aspic essential oil is included in the synergy against severe acne. It contains linalool and camphor, molecules with healing and skin regenerating properties. It will thus help the body to repair damaged tissues by stimulating the synthesis of the cells of the epidermis, the keratinocytes. By maintaining the sanitized environment and inhibiting the inflammation of pimples, it will promote the healing process. Indeed, the cicatrization is potentiated in the presence of bactericidal and anti-inflammatory properties, as it is the case here.

Moreover, camphor has a desclerosing action: it limits the abnormal proliferation of tissues, thus decreasing the risk of appearance of red and blistered scars. Finally, linalool will inhibit the pain message between the nociceptive receptors present on the surface of the skin and the brain, thus provoking a local anesthesia at the level of the pimples. This essential oil will thus reinforce the cutaneous analgesic action of the synergy.

A vigorous anti-bacterial: Clove

Acne can be very severe during adolescence. To strengthen the synergy the Clove essential oil is put to use. The eugenol present in large majority has a powerful antibacterial action with a wide spectrum of action which allows to fight against many bacteria.

Moreover, this molecule is an immune stimulant, thus reinforcing the action of terpinen-4-ol of Tea Tree essential oil. Eugenol is also a very powerful analgesic. It is often compared to lidocaine (commercialized local anesthetic) and is even more active. It is also anti-inflammatory because it inhibits the formation of pro-inflammatory prostaglandins (PGE2) and cyclooxygenase (COX), molecules involved in the inflammatory process. All these properties reinforce the action of the three other essential oils of the synergy.

Why this vegetable oil?

Jojoba regulates sebum secretion

Acne pimples and other blackheads are often due to an overproduction of sebum by the skin. While this sebum is very useful and forms the skin's protective film, when its production is out of whack, it oxidizes and clogs pores. The Jojoba Plant Oil therefore addresses the cause of your acne with its sebum-regulating properties. Jojoba oil will thus allow you to regain the balance on your skin, to avoid the formation of future pimples. It sounds the death knell for those unsightly pimples!
