Motion sickness is a group of disorders that can affect the passenger of a moving vehicle: nausea, dizziness, tinnitus, headaches, etc. Whether in a car, a boat or, more rarely, a plane, these problems are particularly annoying and make for a bad time. Motion sickness particularly affects children but some adults are also sensitive to it. This disorder would come from a contradiction between the auditory information, which announces a movement (we hear the car driving) and the visual information which announces a stability of the image (look inside the cabin).

The Peppermint essential oil is THE anti-nausea reference of essential oils; it is composed between 30 and 55% of menthol, a very good antispasmodic. This component suppresses digestive and intestinal spasms acting on the contractions of the small intestine and thus prevents the appearance of stomach cramps and nausea.
Menthone, a ketone, promotes the secretion of bile by the liver and its evacuation into the intestine; it therefore encourages digestion and will avoid nausea from a heavy meal before using the vehicle. Finally, the essential oil of Peppermint will give you a fresh breath which will make you forget the heat, one of the key factors of the disorders of transport.
In order to avoid heartache, the digestive system must function properly. The Cardamom essential oil specializes in digestive disorders and particularly promotes the expulsion of intestinal gas.
This essential oil will also allow to find the appetite (often lost during the disorders of transport); indeed, it should not be forgotten that to travel the completely empty stomach influences the nauseas.
Terpenyl acetate, a terpene ester, acts on the nervous system and limits the process of triggering spasms: it competes with the molecules responsible for the contraction of the smooth muscles and thus makes it possible to suppress or calm the muscle spasms. The abdominal pains which are associated there will disappear.
Stress is not innocent in transportation-related disorders: it accentuates them. Linalool, a monoterpene alcohol, provides Little Bigarade Grain essential oil with nervous rebalancing properties. Indeed, linalool increases the level of dopamine and thus calms excitability. On the other hand, this component has a sedative effect on the autonomic nervous system by action on various neurotransmitters. Finally, it regulates the mood.

In addition, they have interesting antispasmodic properties that will combine with menthol of Peppermint essential oil and another ester, terpenyl acetate, to limit the digestive discomfort felt.
