Cellulite is a natural and physiological phenomenon. In fact, nearly 9 out of 10 women are affected at one time or another in their lives, compared to only 1 out of 50 men. This "orange peel skin", often unattractive, is due to poor drainage of the body which no longer excretes water into the adipocytes (fat cells) as it should. This results in a compression of the blood and lymphatic vessels, which increases the size of the fat cells and, moreover, the thickness of the hypodermis (deepest layer of the skin). Although this natural mechanism cannot be eliminated, it is possible to reduce the consequences with essential oils!

The Lemon essential oil is the reference in case of cellulite. It is known and recognized for this action.
Its high concentration in limonene (56 to 78%) confers to him the property hypolipidemiante which enables him to support the lipolysis, that is to say the destruction of the fatty bodies (lipids), or fat of the organization. It will thus make lower the rate of fat in blood. Moreover, it will support the drainage and the digestion.
The Atlas Cedar essential oil has specific and essential properties to fight cellulite.
The trans alpha atlantone, sesquiterpene ketone, has a lipolytic action by dissolving fat during digestion. The essential oil of Cedar of the Atlas will cause the lysis of adipocytes (destruction of the cells of the adipose tissue specialized in the storage of greases), which explains why it is used in this synergy against the cellulitis.
The Essential Oil of Criste Marine is rare and little known and yet it is the one we can name with certainty, the marine slimming one.
The great quantity of terpenes (more than 80%) which compose it makes it strongly aquarétique and diuretic. These molecules will increase the volume of water and urine eliminated. They will facilitate the drainage, in particular of the urinary and biliary tracts allowing to support the excretion of water and thus to increase the production of urine.
Moreover, it has the property particularly sought in our case: it is anti-cellulite. It will help to fight against cellulite by promoting the elimination of fat and limiting water retention.
The Lemongrass essential oil is used here for its anti-inflammatory action.
Citrals (geranial + neral) in very high quantities (60 to 86%), will help to reduce the swelling of fat cells under the hypodermis (the deepest layer of the skin) which compress the blood and lymphatic vessels preventing them from draining water efficiently.
This property is complementary to the draining properties of the other essential oils of the synergy.
Cellulite can be caused by inflammation of the skin tissue. The Eucalyptus Lemon essential oil is known for its action on muscles and joints but it also acts on skin tissue. The citronellal present between 65 and 82% in this essential oil makes it very anti-inflammatory. It will therefore limit the consequences of inflammation, pain and redness thanks to this action.
Moreover, citronellal is a skin analgesic. It will thus calm the potential pains resulting from a fibrous cellulite. Finally, this essential oil has a lemon scent that will be very pleasant to breathe after application on the skin.
To make penetrate essential oils in the body and allow the destocking of greases at the origin of the cellulite, the massage in palpé-roulé remains the most effective. To facilitate this massage, the shea butter is the ideal support: it melts at the temperature of the body to offer you a texture easy to use and to dose.
Shea butter also has moisturizing, healing and softening properties that allow your skin to regain its suppleness and thus facilitate the elimination of the orange peel effect.
