The methylchavicol present in Tarragon essential oil between 65 and 86% has stomachic properties, that is, it promotes the proper functioning of the stomach. This will reduce the pain or cramps that can occur in this organ. This molecule increases the digestive secretions salivary, gastric, intestinal and pancreatic. It thus allows the degradation of food in nutrients which avoids an accumulation of food in the digestive system; this last function prevents the appearance of possible parasites in this organ.
Methylchavicol will prevent the possible fermentation of stagnant waste in the intestines by attacking the bacteria or germs in the intestines that are responsible.
This super molecule will also act as a neuromuscular antispasmodic. It will thus intervene on the smooth muscles (muscles contracting independently of the will, that is to say here the muscles surrounding the organs of the digestive system) to limit the abdominal pains which can occur at the time of a constipation.
Thanks to its laxative activity induced by limonene, a monoterpene, Bergamot essential oil accelerates intestinal transit by softening stools, greatly facilitating their evacuation.
This essential oil also contains linalool and monoterpene esters with spasmolytic properties that will help Tarragon essential oil to reduce abdominal pain.
Linalool is also anxiolytic: it regulates the mood, reduces blood pressure, it soothes and relaxes in case of stress. It is thus an undeniable asset when one knows that the majority of the states of constipation are due to the stress! This relaxation will also allow to evacuate the stools more easily.
The Essential Oil of Coriander Seeds has digestive properties: in particular, it is carminative, meaning that it helps expel intestinal gas, this promotes digestion and inhibits bloating that can occur during constipation.
It also allows the good drainage of the liver, kidneys and intestines; by cleaning these organs, it will allow to rebalance the digestive system before the next meal.
The Ginger essential oil will be of great help for digestion, in fact 70% of its molecules are sesquiterpenes and monoterpenes that intervene in the tonic action on the digestive system by promoting intestinal peristalsis. The peristalsis is the whole of the contractions of the smooth muscles which make it possible to make progress the food bolus of the upstream towards the downstream in the intestines. Promoting peristalsis therefore prevents food from stagnating in the intestine and consequently helps relieve constipation.
More specifically, zingiberene (sesquiterpene) has a microstimulation effect on the digestive glands at the gastric and intestinal levels. This property associated with the intestinal motility reinforces the digestive capacity.
Terpenyl acetate, an ester present between 30 and 40% in cardamom essential oil, has interesting carminative properties: it promotes the evacuation of intestinal gases by stimulating salivary and gastric secretions. This allows a better degradation and assimilation of food. In addition, this ester promotes intestinal motility, i.e. it encourages the movement of the smooth muscles surrounding the intestine, which allows the transport of the food bolus from upstream of the digestive system to downstream and then to be expelled in the form of stools.
On the other hand, by disturbance of the ionic exchanges at the level of the muscarinic receptors intervening in particular on the smooth muscles, the terpenyl acetate has an antispasmodic activity which will calm the abdominal pains related to the constipation.
Composed of between 65 and 80% limonene, a monoterpene famous for its tonic properties on the digestive tract, Green Mandarin essential oil will complete the digestive tropism molecular pool of this blend.
This compound is said to be carminative by increasing the secretion of bile by the liver (biological liquid allowing digestion, especially of lipids) and facilitating its release in the intestine.
The limonene will come to support the sesquiterpenes of the essential oil of Ginger to facilitate the expulsion of the stools thanks to its laxative activity.
Some users are more fragile than others, which is why essential oils should more often be diluted in a vegetable oil before use, to ensure safe use. Thus, Ricin vegetable oil provides this safety but also its own laxative properties. Ricin vegetable oil does indeed promote digestion and bowel movements, and will allow you to have a much easier bowel movement, especially combined with the power of essential oils.
To allow the essential oils that make up this synergy to quickly reach the intestines, Argan oil is the most appropriate vehicle. Highly penetrating, it will help the aromatic molecules of the essential oils to pass the skin barrier in a few moments. It will moreover make it possible to dilute the active ingredients of essential oils not to exceed the recommended doses, which is very important because, during a pregnancy, it is necessary to be very careful!
