Tea Tree Hydrosol: benefits and uses in cosmetics and natural health

Native to Australia, Tea Tree is renowned for its anti-infectious action. Active on a large part of micro-organisms, it allows to disinfect wounds and to prevent and treat mycosis. The hydrolat is particularly interesting in mouthwash to fight against the oral infections such as the gingivites. Main properties

  • anti-infectious : Tea Tree hydrosol acts on any type of microorganism, as well as bacteria as virus or microscopic fungus. The terpinen-4-ol gives it a broad spectrum. It is thus recommended for its rebalancing properties of our oral, digestive and vaginal flora. It thus makes it possible to relieve various infections: cutaneous like mycoses, the acne and the wounds, oral like the gingivites and the mouth ulcers, respiratory like the bronchitis and even genital!
  • circulatory : the hydrosol stimulates lymphatic and venous circulation. It can thus relieve circulation problems such as hemorrhoids, cellulite, phlebitis, varicose veins and venous and lymphatic stasis.
  • neurotonic, nervous stimulant : Tea Tree hydrosol stimulates the nervous system to fight against physical or nervous fatigue. It can be useful during periods when we feel overwhelmed by work or lack of energy in general.
  • immunostimulant : thanks to its composition in terpinene-4-ol, the Tea Tree hydrolate allows to increase our immune defenses.
  • expectorant : it has a gentle action of eliminating mucus in case of colds, bronchitis and other respiratory infections.

Against the Acne

From 3 months. By skin, use as a tonic lotion in the morning and evening, spray or in a clay mask against acne.

Use in synergy

From 3 months. By cutaneous way, spray morning and evening on a cleaned and removed skin the following mixture in equal parts:

  • Hydrolat of Tea Tree
  • Hydrolat of Lavender officinalis

For ages 3 and up, except pregnant and breastfeeding women. By skin, spray the following mixture on the area to be disinfected:

  • 10 mL Tea Tree hydrosol
  • 10 mL Thyme linalool hydrolate
  • 10 mL of Italian Helichrysum hydrosol in case of contusion
  • 10 mL of Cistus hydrosol in case of bleeding
